The names "Toastmasters International", "Toastmasters", and the Toastmasters International emblem are trademarks protected in the United States, Canada, and other countries where Toastmasters Clubs exist. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
New Toastmasters Communication Track
The Communication Track name change becomes effective July 1, 2006. The Toastmasters program includes the development of both communication and leadership skills. The recognition awards of the communication track are:
- Competent Communicator (CC) - Completing 10 speeches from the Competent Communication manual.
- Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) - Completing the CC and two Advanced Communication manuals.
- Advanced Communicator - Silver (ACS) - Completing the ACB and two Advanced Communication manuals. Conducting any two programs from The Better Speaker Series or The Better Club Series.
- Advanced Communicator - Gold (ACG) - Completing the ACS and two Advanced Communication manuals. Conducted a Success/Leadership Program, Success/Communication Program or a Youth Leadership Program. Coached a new member with the first three speech projects.
Completing ACG and the Advanced Leader Silver award enables a person to become a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), Toastmasters highest award.

- Advanced Toastmaster - Bronze (ATM-B) - Completing the CTM and two Advanced Communication and Leadership manuals.
- Advanced Toastmaster - Silver (ATM-S) - Completing the ATM-B and two Advanced Communication and Leadership manuals. Conducting any two programs from The Better Speaker Series or The Better Club Series.
- Advanced Toastmaster - Gold (ATM-G) - Completing the ATM-S and two Advanced Communication and Leadership manuals. Conducting a Success/Leadership Program, Success/Communication Program or a Youth Leadership Program. Coaching a new member with their first three speeches.
